Henry Hulse and Alice Doyle marry 
1864
On September 8, 1864, earlier story Henry Hulse married Alice Doyle in Lloydtown. They had six children over the next ten years: Thomas H. born 1865, Mary Jane (a.k.a. May Hulse) born 1868, Arthur H. born 1869, Bartley born 1870, Alice A. and Walter born 1874, and Henry Hulse Jun. born in 1875. Both Thomas and Arthur died as toddlers.

Henry runs Schomberg Hotel 
1868-1877
After farming for two years, Henry moved to Schomberg. His brother John had died at sea in 1868 and Henry took over the management of his hotel. It was likely located on Main Street, on which he owned 6 acres of mostly pasture, a house with a barn with several carriages, wagons and farm implements including a fanning mill. He was employing three staff. He continued running the hotel for ten years.

Henry's mother Mary and Alice's mother Jane both remained in Lloydtown in the 1870's.

At Royal Hotel, Newmarket 
1878-1881
After a further year of farming, Henry moves the family to Newmarket where he takes charge of the Royal Hotel and remains there for four years, plus one year privately in town.
At Paisley House, Orangeville 
1883-1889
The Hulses spent nine years in Orangeville; seven of them at the Paisley House. Henry's daughter Mary Jane, or May as her family knew her, met and married Henry Holtorf continue this story there, beginning a mysterious and yet unconfirmed adventure resulting in Henry Holtorf's untimely death in the United States. At least that's how the story goes.
