earlier story John Daniel married Rhoda Williton in the Village of Manilla, Victoria County, on the 20th of November, 1878. They moved to Cannington, Brock Township and began their small family. Samuel John was born 20th January, 1879, and his sister Martha E. was born in late 1881.

John Daniel eventually moved his family to the vicinity of Toronto in the late 1880's, as had his mother Esther and brothers Joseph, Isaac and Jacob. In 1894, John Daniel was living at 194 Annette Street West and was a painter at the Dodge Wood Split Pulley Company. He joined his twin brothers at CCM making bicycles in 1901, and also worked as a clerk at F.G. Lillie and Company. He moved to 117 Maria in 1904.

Samuel J. Wixson married Annie Lucinda Blake on March 27th, 1902, and lived with Samuel's parents. Their son Daniel Wixson was born later in the year. In 1906, Samuel moved the family to 445 Quebec Avenue, which was later renumbered and became 133 Quebec Avenue. Here their children Marion and Robert Wixson were born.

Future studies will give greater detail to the times from Samuel Wixson's apparent death in the 1870's, through to John Daniel's move to Toronto and the families of Daniel, Marion and Robert Wixson. MB
