This Christ Church, Holland Landing stone was probably purchased in 1952 for the death of George D.L.'s wife Marjorie, and replaced whatever markers existed since the plot was purchased in 1895. Only George D.L.'s name was added later.

The plot sits practically on top of the old vault that originally belonged to Dr. George D. Morton. Stan Stych says he remembers a vault being there back in the 30's -- the church historian said it was covered up soon after.
