(1) - The church minutes include records of baptism,
when the person, as an adult, accepts Baptist precepts and becomes a memeber
of the congregation.
(2) - From the Index of Land Abstracts of Brock and
Pickering Counties.
(3) - At the end of the last book of church minutes,
microfilmed by the University of McMaster Divinity College, is a list of
church members. The entry is undated, but obviously was not made before
1855. Many of the Wixsons are labelled as "removed", which I
assume means that they removed themselves, as in relocated. One entry says
"ex", which may mean excommunicated. "Present" indicates
the person was still a memeber at the time of the entry. "--"
indicates an absence from the records. All Wixsons are listed here. The
original list included other non-Wixsons not shown here.
