Caroline mentioned in grandfather Edward Stallard's Will 1862.[237] She and Thomas Henry Ide appeared on the census of 1871 at York Co., Ontario, Canada; where Thomas (36) was a carpenter, and Caroline (26) and Ammy (1) were present.[426] She and Thomas Henry Ide appeared on the census of 1881 at York Co., Ontario, Canada; where Thomas (45) was a carpenter. Caroline (36), Amy (11), Clara (9), Willis (7), Laura S. (5), Albert E. (2) and Atholene (1) were present.[427] In 1898, Caroline Judd and Thomas Henry Ide lived at 269 Lisgar St., Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada, where Thomas H. was a builder, Willis A. a carpenter, and Albert E. a telephone operator.[428] She and Thomas Henry Ide appeared on the census of 1901 at Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada; where Thomas (64) a house carpenter, Caroline (56), Amy (31) a dress maker, Willis (26) a policeman, Clara (27) a dress maker, Lara (27) a telegraph operator, Albert (23), and Agnes (15) were present.[429] In 1907, Caroline Judd and Thomas Henry Ide lived at 260 Lisgar St., Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada.[430]

Thomas Henry IDE[431],[431] was christened on 23 Nov 1834 at Warblington, Co. Hampshire, England.[274] He died of sarcoma on 17 Aug 1907 at Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada, at age 72.[432],[433] He was buried in Aug 1907 at St. George's On-The-Hill, Islington, York Co., Ontario, Canada.[434] He lived in 1867 at lot 8, Con. 21. Mary Ann6 JUDD (child of Caroline5Stallard, Edward4, William3, William2, Edward1);[334],[334] born circa 1847 at Havant, Co. Hampshire, England;[335],[336] married Charles W. Chapman, son of Reverend Philip Chapman and Charlotte Stallard; and they were 1st cousins;[332],[333] died at Kingston, Jamaica.[337]

"The death is reported from Kingston, Jamaica, of Mrs. Atholine Marian Chapman, wife of the chief clerk at treasury there, and a sister of Mrs. Thomas Ade [sic] of Concord-avenue, Toronto. The late Mrs. Chapman was a sister-in-law of Archbishop Nuttall, primate of the West Indies, and had many friends in this city. She passed away after a few weeks' illness."[338] She was also known as Atholine Marian Judd.[339]

Charles W. CHAPMAN.[163],[163] Charles worked in the Treasury department in Jamaica.[164]

22. Alfred6 STENT (child of Mary5Stallard, Edward4, William3, William2, Edward1);[250],[250] born 1 Sep 1844 at Buriton, Co. Hampshire, England;[60] married Sarah Lewis;[452] died "age 58" 11 Apr 1903 at Havant, Co. Hampshire, England, at age 58.[251]

Alfred and Sarah had six children: Alfred, Stirling, Matha (marr. Stephens), Charles, Frank, and Isidor (marr. Dean). Many of their descendents are known.[453] He appeared on the census of 1901 at Havant, Co. Hampshire, England; where Alfred (56) was a Fellmonger Parchment Manufacture Cashier.[454] After working with his grandfather Edward Stallard at Homewell as a fellmonger and parchment maker, Alfred "then continued to develop these industries at the Tannery in West Street, with his sons, Stingling and Frank. 'Alfred Stent and Sons' eventually became a glove factory of international repute", founded in 1916.[455] "After the death of Messrs. Frank and Stirling Stent... Mr. Leslie Stent (son of Frank) became head of the firm..." which closed down in 1960.[271]

Sarah LEWIS was born circa 1850.[456] She died "age 86" on 4 Jan 1936 at Havant, Co. Hampshire, England.[251]

She was also known as Tilley.[460]

Milton Ernest Edward7 BONE (child of Kate6Stallard, Edward5, Edward4, William3, William2, Edward1);[463],[464] born 18 Feb 1880 at Barrie, Simcoe Co., Ontario, Canada;[465],[466],[467] married Jane Bain, daughter of Donald Bain and Mary McKenzie, 28 Jan 1908 at Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada; where Ernest was 28, and a business manager, and Jane was 26. Witnesses were Mac J. Cockburn and W.J. McLean of Toronto. H.A. MacPherson officiated;[468],[469] died of myocardial degeneration and hypertension 7 Sep 1946 at 185 Fern Avenue, Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada, at age 66;[470] buried 10 Sep 1946 at St. George's On-The-Hill, Range 9 North, S 1/2 lot 16, plot 3, Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada, after service at Turner & Porter Funeral Home on Roncesvalles Ave.[358]

Records first describe Ernest, or Milton as he was also called, as a machinist apprentice in 1901, and a machinist since 1902, at age 20.[471],[472],[473] Working for Russel Motor Car Company, Ernest probably road tested the first Canadian-made automobiles: the 1903 electric Ivanhoe, and the 1905 gasoline engine Russel model A.[474],[475] Between 1909 and 1946, Milton Ernest Edward Bone and Jane Bain lived at 185 Fern Avenue, Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada, with Ernest's parents, until Harry died in 1912, and Kate in 1922.[476] He and Jane Bain appeared on the census of 1911 at 185 Fern Ave, Toronto, Ontario, Canada; where Ernest (29) was a toolmaker for Toronto Cycle Works 48hrs/week, and Jennie (29), Donald Albery (1), and Ernest's parents Harry (66) and Kate (60) were present.[378] In 1911, Ernest was a foreman at Canada Cycle and Motor Co., a Tommy Russel company and home of the Russel motor car. Ernest had also been a painter from 1909-1911, but from 1912 on, he was described as a toolmaker or machinist.[477] Around 1910 to 1914, Ernest was in charge of testing sleeve valve technology that was incorporated into Russel's "Silent Knight" engine.[474],[478] In 1915, the Russel Motor Car Co. was bought by Willys-Overland Ltd. and switched from producing automobiles to mostly munitions during the Great War in Europe. Ernest, and his son Ernie, worked for various Tommy Russel companies until the 1930's: Russel Motor Car Co., Russel Gear & Machine, and Canadian Acme Screw & Gear Ltd.[479],[477] Ernest was a foreman at British American Razors in 1931, then a toolmaker for Acme Screw & Gear in 1933. He was a machinist for Eatons from 1935-36, Beaver Laundry Machines in 1937, and Canadian Theatre & Electric in 1938.[477] From 1939 until 1945, Ernest worked as a toolmaker for General Theatre Supply.[480] His obituary in Sep 1946 read, "Pioneer Figure In The Auto Industry: ...driver of the first Canadian made automobile, M. Ernest Bone, aged 66, died yesterday at his home, 185 Fern Ave. ...moved to Toronto in 1900 and began work soon afterward for the old Russell Motor Car Co. of Weston. ...was also believed to have been the first motorist to drive from Toronto to Ottawa. ...attended Church of the Epiphany, Queen St. W., and was a member of the Oddfellows and the Ancient Order of Foresters."[481]

Jane BAIN[482],[483] was born on 27 May 1881 at Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada.[484],[485],[486] She died of atherosclerotic heart disease on 28 Oct 1966 at Clarkson, Peel Co., Ontario, Canada, at age 85.[487] She was buried on 31 Oct 1966 at St. George's On-The-Hill, Range 9 North, S 1/2 lot 16, plot 3, Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada.[358] She was confirmed on 3 Apr 1938 at Church of the Epiphany, Toronto, Ontario, Canada; by Rev. Despard.[488] Between 1946 and 1954, Jane Bain lived at 185 Fern Avenue, Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada, living with her son Ernest.[489] Between 1955 and 1966, Jane Bain lived at 5 Charleston Rd., Islington, Ontario, Canada, with son Ernest.[490],[491]

    After a short time at Eaton's with his father, Ernie began working as a junior clerk at Canadian Acme Screw & Gear, around 1937.[497] He began military service in 1944 with Royal Canadian Air Force, and was a flight trainer by 1945.[498] Between 1946 and 1954, Ernest Bone continued to live at 185 Fern Avenue, Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada, with his mother.[499] In 1947, Ernie became a salesman for Berkel Prod. Co. and remained there until 1954.[500] In 1955, Ernie began working for Globe Slicers, becoming Sales Manager by 1965.[501] Between 1955 and 1994, Ernest Bone lived at 5 Charleston Rd., Islington, Ontario, Canada, with his mother until 1966, and then with wife Mary from 1966-81.[502],[503] Between 1994 and 2000, Ernest Bone lived at Central Park Lodge, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.[503]

E. Frederick and Pat had two children: Doris Frances, and Charles Frederick. Several descendants are known.[414]

27. Hilda Maude7 STEPHENS (child of Frances6Stallard, Edward5, Edward4, William3, William2, Edward1);[530],[531] born 31 Oct 1885;[410] married Maurice James Pride 1918.[532]

As of 1918, she was also known as Maude Pride. Maude Pride was M. Ernest Bone's 1st cousin. She, Vivian and Audrey (her son and daughter-in-law) were great friends and contributers to Aubrey Bone's Stallard family research in Hampshire. They visited together in England often during the 1960's and 70's.[533]

Maurice James PRIDE was born on 15 Nov 1878.[534] He died on 28 Feb 1958 at age 79.[534]

She was also known as Pat Stent.[525] She was also known as Martha Stent.[526]

Edward Frederick STEPHENS[411],[412] was born on 23 Jul 1873.[410] He died on 30 Sep 1948 at age 75.[410] E. Frederick and Pat had two children: Doris Frances, and Charles Frederick. Several descendants are known.[414]

30. Donald Albery8 BONE (child of Milton7, Kate6Stallard, Edward5, Edward4, William3, William2, Edward1); (a.k.a. Grandpa, Aubrey);[540],[541] born 17 Dec 1909 at Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada;[542] married Muriel Irene Boyd, daughter of Robert Boyd Jr. and Muriel May Marchment, 17 Oct 1936 at Baptist Church, Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada;[543] died 2 Apr 1996 at Queensway General Hospital, Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada, at age 86.

He was also known as Aubrey D. Bone. Around 1927 or 28, Albery quit high school and began working as a gopher at Toronto Carpet and then Toronto Hydro. He returned to complete his high school Grade 13 diploma at night school.[544],[545],[546] In 1930, Albery joined Canada Foils as an order clerk. The next year, he used his holidays to visit customer plants, and eventually became Canada Foils' first salesman.[547],[548] In 1937, Donald Albery Bone and Muriel Irene Boyd lived at 76 Methuen Ave., Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada.[549] Between 1938 and 1950, Donald Albery Bone and Muriel Irene Boyd lived at 4 Brumell Ave., Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada, with Irene's mother Muriel.[550] At Canada Foils Ltd., Albery moved from Export Manager (1941), to Assistant Sales Manager (1943), to Sales Manager (1945) and finally General Sales Manager by 1949.[551] Between 1951 and 1983, Donald Albery Bone and Muriel Irene Boyd lived at 22 Kenridge Ave., Toronto, Ontario, Canada.[552] In 1957, Albery became a manager at Bradshaws, and stayed with them until 1962.[553] Albery became Ontario Sales Manager in the Packaging Division of Reynold's Aluminum in 1963.[554] Albery retired from Reynold's Aluminum in 1974, but continued consulting for Progressive Packaging.[555],[556] Between Jun 1983 and Apr 1996, Donald Albery Bone and Muriel Irene Boyd lived at 820 Burnhamthorpe Rd., Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada.[557],[558]

Muriel Irene BOYD[559],[560] was born on 14 Apr 1912 at Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada.[561],[562] She died on 4 Sep 1998 at Queensway General Hospital, Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada, at age 86. Between Apr 1996 and Aug 1998, Muriel Irene Boyd continued living at 820 Burnhamthorpe Rd., Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada.[563]
