Sussex, England.[384],[385] He died of heart failure on 15 Dec 1912 at 185 Fern Avenue, Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada, at age 75.[386],[355] He was buried on 18 Dec 1912 at St. George's On-The-Hill, Range 9 North, S 1/2 lot 16, plot 3, Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada.[387],[388] Harry may have attended Churcher's College sometime between 1847 and 1858. He later told how he could pick from his father's apple trees reaching over the fence from the school yard. He may instad have attended the British boys and girls school on College Street.[389] He was a Master Brewer and beer retailer in 1865 at College Street, Petersfield, Co. Hampshire, England.[390],[391] In Barrie, on the birth of his son Ernest in 1880, Harry was recorded to be a Maltster.[392] Harry sold the Tiffin St. property for $1 to Naughton Lennox of Barrie in May 1893. It appears he borrowed against the property in 1892, and Mr. Lennox purchased that 'debt' when Harry was unable to repay. This may explain the story "had a house in Barrie, but was cheated out of it."[393],[394]
